Brussels, 13 May 2022 – The European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) elected a new leadership team at its annual general meeting on May 12, with Andrea Vallejo Galarza of Johnson Controls succeeding Jürgen Fischer of Danfoss as Chair.
Vallejo said: “I would like to thank our members for entrusting me to take on this role. I am confident that thanks to their continued work and commitment to the association, EPEE will remain at the forefront of issues concerning the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump sector. The EU needs to urgently move away from fossil fuels in heating & cooling, and our technologies will play the biggest role in that task. We will need to ensure that both policymakers and industry can agree on the best approach to reach the 2030 EU climate and energy goals. I look forward to taking on this challenge with our members.”
Also elected during the annual general meeting were Rainer Grosse-Kracht of Bitzer, who was elected Vice-Chair, and Luc Dehon of Climalife, who was elected Treasurer…
