Chillventa Congress

EPEE and Asercom will host a joint symposium during the Chillventa Congress on Monday, 7 October.

The Symposium is open to all interested attendees, and includes several networking opportunities. It is organised into chapters, covering the newest F-gas Regulation first, including implementation, training, what is next for the availability of refrigerants, and more. Chapter II will look at another milestone in the future of refrigerants, with the PFAS dossier, giving an update of its status and the implications for HFOs and fluoropolymers. Chapter III covers the Ecodesign aspects of the RACHP products, highlighting the interplay with the two previous dossiers: F-gas and PFAS. Different product groups will constitute the discussion. Chapter IV looks at the key challenges of grid stability, facing the energy transition and the much-needed roll-out of heat pumps. The Symposium finishes with a worldwide view in Chapter V, providing a glimpse of the road to net zero emissions outside of the EU, notably in the USA and Japan. Each chapter is followed by a Q&A session.
