📢 Vacancy Offer: Policy Manager at EPEE 🌍

EPEE (European Partnership for Energy and the Environment) is a leading industry association focused on driving sustainable policies and promoting environmental excellence, established in Brussels since 2000.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Policy Manager to take the lead in managing one of our vertical Working Groups on Ecodesign.

You will be supported by one or two dynamic interns also working on this Ecodesign WG. You will lead them on Ecodesign files, including Ecodesign and energy labelling requirements.

As a Policy Manager at EPEE, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization and the policies that drive positive change. Reporting directly to the Director General, you will be responsible for leading a WG consisting of 100 members. Working closely with the Chair, Vice-Chair, and WG members, you will be at the forefront of driving the agenda and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the WG.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Drive the agenda and overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the WG.

✅ Proactively ensure that members are well informed on key issues.

✅ Identify and resolve problems while leveraging opportunities for growth and impact.

✅ Engage directly with EU and national decision-makers, as well as the media.

✅ Develop advocacy and communication campaigns on specific themes and issues, in collaboration with EPEE’s Communications Manager.

✅ Foster alliances with other like-minded industry and NGO associations.

✅ Establish EPEE as thought leaders in the policy sector and contribute to positive policy making.

To excel in this role, you should have:

🔹 A minimum of 3-5 years or more of proven experience and expertise in EU Brussels.

🔹 In-depth knowledge of European Union energy, chemical, and environmental policies.

🔹 Strong ability to drive the policy agenda and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.

🔹 Excellent communication skills to engage with decision-makers and the media.

🔹 Experience in developing advocacy campaigns.

🔹 A collaborative mindset and the ability to build alliances.
